Waiting Forlornly

It's still 4 days until I get to see physio Val again and I don't think I can go another day without some form of exercise.I decided to buy another pair of goggles and swim some laps tomorrow.Do you believe in omens - I do.Rebel had 50% off goggles today so I know I made the right decision!Heaven knows whether I can complete a lap tomorrow but with 33deg predicted at least I will be in the right environment.
Surely a few laps can't hurt the back?With all the benefits they say comes from swimming?I'm sure I'm not going to delay my recovery.
Mainly focussing on protein with every meal to aid recovery with the meagre amount of exercises I'm doing - found (at last)a measure of core stability on the net.Performing a "bridge with only one leg on the ground for 30sec in reps of 3 if done perfectly will represent adequate core stability to avoid injury".
Getting tired of reading the CoolRunning site about runners and their achievements.
